Day 55

Despite going to bed after 4 am, I got up at 9:15 to get ready to go to church. On the bulletin board, it said that the chapel at the University of Seville, which is about a half hour walk from our hostel, does an English  mass every Sunday at 11 am. This was apparently a lie (or was at least dated information).

Yes, so, of course, we got up and walked over to the university only to find that there was definitely no English mass at 11 am. We decided to go get some Starbucks and then go to the Spanish mass at the chapel at noon, which was really nice. The usher/altar server guy asked Katie to read the prayers of the faithful, but we told him that we don't speak Spanish (which seemed to confuse him, naturally). Instead, the little girl sitting behind us read them, which was extremely cute.

After that, I spent the bulk of the day doing homework and whatnot. Katie and I Skyped with Anarita for a pretty long time, too, even though she kept saying there was "nothing to talk about." We always find something to discuss!

Katie and I finally began booking our fall break trip. So far, we made arrangements for traveling to and staying in Albufeira and Lisbon (both in Portugal). We can't wait!!!

For our usual Sunday night dinner, Katie, Gina, Tiffany, and I went to Iguanas Ranas, the Mexican restaurant. It was delicious! I got something different this time, which was basically just cheese quesadillas with a bunch of yummy sauce on them. They were amazing, but I couldn't finish it all!

It's crazy how much shorter this post is compared to the last few! But I definitely needed a day of minimal activity. Hopefully this week goes nice and smoothly, and then we'll finally have our break!
